Chasing the latest financial headline left me with too little I wanted to revisit. I started “This Week I Learned” to keep observations that lasted beyond the news cycle.
The notes came from wherever I happened to be. In Mexico, that meant learning history at Chapultepec Castle and finding enough Spanish to order food at a market. A small discovery could earn a place without becoming a market forecast.
The first Mexico notes collect those experiences. I wanted the archive to hold what I learned, not just what happened while I had a browser open.
